You just asked the AI waiter
The menu you just used is the restaurant's own menu, with an AI waiter that answers from it. Here is what it is, what it remembers about you, and how to make it forget. There is no app to install and no account to make.
The AI waiter is an assistant inside the restaurant's menu. It answers only from that menu: the dishes, prices and allergen tags the restaurant published. It cannot see the kitchen, so when the menu does not say, it tells you so instead of guessing, and your server can check.
It speaks your language
Write in any language, even Arabic in Latin letters, and the answer comes back in the same one.
With group ordering, everyone at the table adds dishes to one list, each on their own phone. Tap Add to my table on a dish, open My table, then Share with your table. The others join from the link and add their own picks, and when your server comes, you show them the list.
Your picks stay yours
Each phone changes only its own picks. Your allergies and diet are never shared with the table.
At each restaurant, the AI waiter keeps a small taste profile: the diets and allergens you mentioned, the dishes it suggested, how many times you came, and your language. It never asks for your name, phone number or email. To delete it, tap Forget me at the bottom of the chat, then Confirm forget me.
One restaurant only
Your profile is not shared with other restaurants unless both turn on sharing, which is off by default. Even then, only hints like your language and allergens carry over.
Kept for a limited time
Your taste profile is kept 540 days after your last visit, and your conversations 365 days, unless the restaurant sets a different time.
Recognising your phone
Only if you accept analytics cookies, or a restaurant's marketing cookies, tamr also keeps a browser fingerprint, and only as a scrambled code.
Forget me deletes it
It deletes your taste profile, your conversations and your sessions at that restaurant. It cannot be undone.
The AI waiter helps you find dishes, and the staff confirm. When you mention an allergy, it notes it, shows dishes whose details do not list it, and asks you to confirm with staff before ordering. A menu can be incomplete, and the kitchen knows what went into your plate.

Is the AI waiter a real person?
No. It is an AI waiter, an automated assistant that answers from this restaurant's own menu: its dishes, prices and allergen tags. It cannot see the kitchen and it does not make dishes up. When it is not sure, it says so instead of guessing, and your server can help from there.
Do I need an app or an account?
No. The menu opens in your phone's browser, from the code on the table or a link the restaurant shared. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for, and you never need to give a name, an email or a phone number. Write in your own language and the AI waiter replies in the same one.
Can the restaurant see what I asked?
Yes. The restaurant sees the questions asked on its menu, with the table or branch and the language, so it can make its menu clearer. It does not see your name, because tamr never asks for it. Phone numbers and emails you type are removed before a message is stored, though an unusual format can slip through.
How do I delete what the AI waiter remembers about me?
Open the AI waiter and tap Forget me at the bottom of the chat, then tap Confirm forget me. tamr deletes your taste profile, your conversations and your sessions at that restaurant, and this cannot be undone.
