tamr is a QR code menu for small restaurants where the owner is also on the floor. Your customers open your menu on their phone and ask the AI waiter what they would ask your server. It answers from your real menu, in each customer's own language, and the menu and the AI waiter are free.

Is tamr worth it for a restaurant with only one location?

Yes, and for one location it can cost nothing. The QR code menu and the AI waiter are free, with no card and no time limit. If you want to see every conversation and the full Insights, Pro is $100 a month for your one location, or $1,000 a year.

Will the AI waiter replace my servers?

No. It answers the menu questions your servers hear all night, like what comes with a dish, what is safe for an allergy or what to share. Your servers still take orders, serve and look after people. With group ordering, the whole table builds one order on their phones and shows it to your server, so taking it is quick.

Do I have to watch the dashboard during service?

No. Conversations appear on your dashboard live, as they happen, so you can look whenever you have a minute, even on your phone. Overview also shows how many people opened your menu, how many chats the AI waiter answered and how many customers left unhappy in the last 7 days.

Can I set it up myself without help?

Yes. Most menus are live in about 20 minutes, so you can do it between services. You upload your menu as a PDF or photos, or import it from a link, check the draft, publish it and print the code. The Setup guide on your dashboard lists the five steps and ticks each one. If you get stuck, the Help Center explains every screen.

What if I change my menu often?

Change a dish or a price in the menu editor and publish again. The AI waiter answers from the new menu, and the code on your tables stays the same, so you never reprint it. If you run a short menu that changes every week, you can also build it dish by dish instead of importing it.
