What is tamr?

What tamr does, the two surfaces you'll use, and what it is not.

tamr turns your menu into something your customers can talk to. A customer scans a QR code at the table, asks a question in plain language, and gets an honest, specific answer, the way they would from a waiter who knows the kitchen. Behind that, you see what everyone asked, what is working, and what is not.

There is no app to download and nothing for your customers to learn. They scan, they ask, they order with more confidence.

The two surfaces you'll use

tamr has two sides that share one design language.

The AI waiter

The intelligence shows up as a named member of your floor staff, not a generic chatbot. It answers questions about dishes, ingredients, allergens, and what pairs well, in the tone you choose. You decide how it sounds and what it is allowed to say, and it never invents a dish you do not serve.

What tamr is not

  • Not a QR menu builder. A static PDF behind a QR code cannot answer a question. tamr can.
  • Not a delivery app. Your customers are at the table. tamr is the floor, not a marketplace.
  • Not a faceless bot. The waiter has a tone and limits you set.
