Connect your POS
How to connect a POS, sync your menu, and re-sync after changes.
Connecting your point of sale syncs your menu into tamr instead of importing it by hand. The first sync pulls your branches, categories, products, and prices. Manage it under Settings → POS integrations.

tamr supports a range of point-of-sale systems across regions, and the list keeps growing. Open Settings → POS integrations to see the systems available to you and connect yours.
Connect and sync
- 1Choose your system
In Settings → POS integrations, pick your point of sale.
- 2Connect it
Enter the credentials it asks for. Depending on the system, that is an access key, a secure sign-in, or a username and password. tamr verifies the connection.
- 3Sync your menu
Run the sync. tamr pulls your branches, categories, products, and prices and builds the menu.
- 4Re-sync when things change
When your POS changes, run the sync again to bring the updates into tamr.
We add integrations based on demand. If your system is not listed, tell us →. You can still go live today by importing your menu from a PDF, photos, or a link. See import a menu →.
FAQ
Does syncing overwrite my edits in tamr?
A sync brings in your POS menu structure. Treat the POS as the source of truth for what it manages, and use the tamr editor for the things it does not, like waiter notes and photos.
How do I get the credentials to connect?
Each system has its own way of issuing an access key or sign-in. When you pick your POS in tamr, it tells you exactly what it needs and where to find it.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes. Disconnecting stops syncing. Your menu stays in tamr.
