Troubleshooting & FAQ
Menu imports, waiter answers, QR codes, credits, and allergen handling.
Short answers to the things people ask most. If yours is not here, use the search at the top of the sidebar, or contact us →.
Menus and dishes
My menu import missed some dishes.
Imports read whatever the source gives them, so a low-quality PDF or photo can come through wrong. Open the menu editor and fix items by hand, or re-import from a cleaner source. See import a menu →.
A dish isn't showing up for customers.
Check three things: the dish is not marked Temporarily unavailable, the menu is published, and your latest edits have saved. Customers only see published menus. See edit dishes →.
My QR code opens an old version of the menu.
Published changes go live within about thirty seconds. If you still see an old version after that, refresh. Confirm your latest edits are published, not sitting in draft. See publish and your QR →.
The AI waiter
The waiter said it couldn't answer something.
That is usually a teaching gap. Check the Waiter tab in Insights for the most common fallback reasons, then add the missing detail to the dish or the waiter's house rules.
A customer asked about an allergy and the waiter stopped.
That is intended. The waiter escalates every allergy question to your team rather than risk a wrong answer. Make sure your dish allergen data is complete. See allergens and dietary →.
Customers don't see a chat option at all.
Chat only appears when the menu is published and a published waiter is attached to it. See attach and publish →.
Billing and credits
I ran out of credits mid-service.
Buy a top-up pack from Settings, Credits, and the waiter resumes immediately. Top-ups never expire, so keep a small buffer before a busy weekend. See credits →.
Who can change billing and settings?
Owners and admins. Members work in the product without billing or destructive settings. See team and roles →.
