Add-ons and home sections

Banners, specials, chef's picks, spotlights, dividers, and a popup campaign.

The Add-ons tab lets you add blocks to your menu's home, above and around the dishes. Add a section, and each one is editable inline, can be toggled on or off (it keeps its settings when off), and most can be dragged to reorder.

The popup

The popup is a full-screen moment that appears when a customer opens your menu. It is configured separately from the home sections.

  • Style. A bottom sheet or a centered modal.
  • When it fires. On load, after a short delay, or at a scroll depth.
  • How often. Every visit, once per session, or once ever.
  • Schedule. Optional start and end date and time.
  • Slides. One or more slides, each with an image or video, a title, body text, and an optional button that dismisses the popup, opens a dish, jumps to a category, or opens a link.

The popup waits politely behind anything already open, like the chat, a dish, or the tray, so it never interrupts.

Use the popup with intent

A popup every visit gets ignored fast. Reserve it for something that earns the interruption: a launch, an event, a limited special. "Once per session" is a good default.
